History

Erwin Hengstler started the company in 1937 making Hydraulic Jacks and Lifting devices. Hengstler became part of the Dana Corporation in 1982 and then joined the Hyco Group in 1998. Today Hyco Hengstler has over 120 employees and exports nearly half its production to other European countries.

Facilities

The Plant is over 150,000 ft² (15,000 m²) under roof and was upgraded in 2009 with the addition of a new paint shop and manufacturing hall. located land of over 224,000 ft² (24,000 m²).

Product

Hyco Hengstler produces Rod Cylinders in the range of 1.5 inch (40mm) bore and up to 142 inch (3,600mm) stroke and Telescopic Cylinders in the range 1.5 inch (40mm) and up to 295 inch (7,500mm) stroke.  Pressures up to 400 Bar (5,800 psi) are supported.

Hyco Hengstler specializes in applications which demand the highest performance in the most demanding situations. All Terrain Cranes, Tracked and Wheeled Excavators and Wheeled Loaders are examples of such challenging applications.
