History

Hyco Hidrover was established in 1974 to make Hydraulic Cylinders and Accumulators. It joined the Hyco Group in 2001 and now is the major cylinder manufacturer in Brazi.

Facilities

Hidrover occupies a 105,000 ft² (11,000 m²) plant in Caxias do Sul and is continually adding new equipment to support the growing operations by international OEMs in Brazil.

Product

Hidrover specializes in Single and Double Acting Rod cylinders from up to 8 inch (200mm) bore and 72 inch (1,900mm) stroke.

Applications

Hidrover’s primary market has been Agricultural Equipment, but Construction and Material handling Applications are the fastest growing sectors. Hidrover is working with other Hyco Companies to support the major multi-nationals such as Caterpillar, Deere and Volvo who are moving in to the Brazilian market with world-design products.
